🚀 Announcing NGX1, a platform for designing multi-peptide targeted lipid nanoparticles (tLNPs)
Nanograb is announcing NGX1: a universal navigation system that delivers mRNA drugs to any cell, so we can build cures for any disease. Moderna proved mRNA can transform skin cancer care. We’re expanding that to all diseases.
The problem holding mRNA back is delivery. There are over 3,000 cell types in the human body, but today’s mRNA drug developers can only reach about 1% of them. Solving this unlocks life-changing therapies for millions of patients.
NGX1 changes the equation:
🎯 Works the first time. Every time. Instead of screening thousands of formulations, our biophysics-informed models achieved >25% hit rates on the first try in mice (4x improvement in cancer cells, 15x for immune cells).
🧬 Hits any cell, any state. Every cell has a unique receptor “fingerprint.” Rather than targeting one receptor, we target the whole fingerprint using multivalent physics, creating drugs that have never existed before.
⚙️ Built to scale. NGX1 uses short peptides instead of antibodies, sidestepping the complex biomanufacturing that makes targeted mRNA drugs so hard to scale to millions of people.
Our team includes the foundational researchers behind the multivalent biophysics powering NGX1 and scientists from Imperial, Oxford and Cambridge.
Multiple public biopharma partners are already paying for early access.
Moderna showed that mRNA is the future. NGX1 is the first step toward a world where millions can actually access these therapies.
