IMVARIA to offer InVision cardiac amyloid AI through its diagnostic lab

Published in Artificial Intelligence, Scanners and Imaging, Tools.

On October 5, 2026, InVision Medical Technology and IMVARIA announced that IMVARIA’s AI Lab will offer InVision Precision Cardiac Amyloid through a physician-ordered referral service. This gives clinicians a way to submit echocardiograms for analysis without running the software in their own imaging systems.

According to the companies, the algorithm analyzes routine echocardiograms and flags patients who should receive confirmatory testing for cardiac amyloidosis. The release states that the software received FDA 510(k) clearance in May 2025 for adults aged 65 and older.

The new announcement concerns access through a diagnostic service, rather than a new regulatory clearance. Its output supports clinical assessment and referral; a flagged echocardiogram does not by itself confirm amyloidosis.

The release does not present a new clinical trial demonstrating improved patient outcomes through this referral pathway. Performance and use should be interpreted within the device’s intended population and clinical workflow.
