Insilico Describes Agent Connections and New Research Workflows Across Pharma.AI

Published in Artificial Intelligence, Drugs development & discovery, Tools.

Insilico Medicine’s preview for its September 30, 2026 Pharma.AI fall update describes an expanded role for AI agents in drug-discovery software. The company says Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors are available across its biology, chemistry and biologics platforms, allowing compatible agents to connect research steps within existing AI environments.

The announced workflows include antibody design and screening through Generative Biologics, target analysis through PandaOmics, and molecular generation, property profiling and retrosynthesis through Chemistry42. PandaOmics additions include single-cell signature analysis, structural druggability review and indication prioritization.

The preview also presents DDD Benchmarks for evaluating AI in drug discovery and development, alongside the Virtual Aging Cell platform for computational simulations of biological age and compound perturbations.

These are company-reported software capabilities and research resources. The preview does not demonstrate that autonomous workflows produce safer medicines, shorten clinical trials or improve patient outcomes. It also should not be read as independent confirmation of every announced feature’s performance.
