OpenDNA launches consumer website for personalized genomic health testing
Published in Artificial Intelligence, Personalized medicine, Tools.
On October 5, 2026, OpenDNA announced the launch of opendnahealth.com, a direct-to-consumer website for exploring its genomic health products and ordering online. The company says its products were already offered through healthcare providers, including primary care and concierge practices.
OpenDNA describes a precision medicine approach combining genomics, artificial intelligence and clinical information. Its testing includes polygenic risk scores for coronary heart disease, obesity, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and hypertension.
The development expands a purchasing channel for existing genomic health products. The launch announcement does not demonstrate that direct consumer access improves clinical outcomes or establish a new diagnostic authorization. Genetic risk information should be understood as risk assessment rather than confirmation that a person has, or will develop, a disease.
