Docquity and Japanese medical technology company exMedio have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand their clinical AI partnership. The agreement builds on their 2025 collaboration and focuses on physician communities, particularly in oncology.
The companies plan to integrate Docquity’s Ask Dx assistant into the activities of exMedio’s physician communities: learning, consulting colleagues and searching for medical information. Development will incorporate feedback from Japanese physicians. exMedio also intends to extend its hematology community model to solid tumors.
The partners will explore knowledge sharing between physician networks in Japan and Southeast Asia, taking account of local languages and healthcare systems.
Specific services, features and launch dates have not yet been announced. The releases describe development plans, rather than clinical validation or demonstrated patient benefits. exMedio states that the assistant supports clinicians’ judgment and does not replace it.
