Vitalize raises $31 million for AI hospital staffing and capacity management — October 6, 2026

Published in Artificial Intelligence, Tools.

October 6, 2026 — Vitalize announced a $31 million Series A led by Oak HC/FT to expand its AI platform for hospital workforce and capacity operations. Participants include Norwest, .406 Ventures, Constellation Ventures, Y Combinator, Rock Health Capital and MemorialCare Innovation Fund.

The platform connects staffing, scheduling and patient demand with hospital capacity planning. It integrates with electronic medical records and time-and-payroll systems, using operational inputs to forecast demand and help coordinate staff across units and shifts.

Vitalize plans to strengthen its growth and deployment teams and invest in AI models for patient throughput optimization. The announcement describes customer-reported reductions in scheduling work and premium labor spending; these are deployment testimonials rather than independently controlled evidence of improved patient outcomes.

The funding supports operational software expansion. Its clinical impact will depend on implementation, staffing policies and evaluation within participating health systems.
