YD Bio and EG BioMed Launch AI Tool for Organizing Cancer Risk Factors

Published in Artificial Intelligence, Tools.

October 6, 2026 — YD Bio and EG BioMed announced an online assessment that organizes self-reported health information into reports covering ten cancer types. The companies say it is available in English and Chinese.

The tool uses a 52-question survey addressing personal and family history, symptoms, lifestyle, environmental exposures and diet. According to the announcement, statistical and AI models work alongside literature-based rules to identify contributing risk factors. Reports include source references and screening information reflecting national guidance, including Canada’s.

The distinction between risk-factor organization and medical testing is essential. The companies explicitly state that the output does not estimate an individual’s probability of developing cancer and is not intended for diagnosis, screening, early detection, disease prediction or treatment decisions. Any related blood testing remains a physician’s decision.

This is a commercial product announcement, rather than evidence from an independent clinical validation study. Readers should assess the tool within those stated limits.
