MintNeuro Raises $5 Million to Scale Chips for Neural Devices

Published in Brain/Neurology, Tools.

October 7, 2026

MintNeuro announced a $5 million investment round on October 7 to expand its semiconductor platform for neural devices, including implants and wearables. Odyssey Ventures led the round, joined by European and US investors.

The Imperial College London spinout develops modular chips for neural sensing, signal processing and electrical stimulation. Its goal is to give device developers specialised components that can support compact, low-power interfaces with the nervous system.

According to MintNeuro, working chips have already been delivered and integration milestones reached with research and development partners, including Motif Neurotech and Amber Therapeutics. The new funding will support product launches, customer adoption, team growth and international expansion.

This announcement documents financing and hardware development. It does not establish that devices incorporating the chips safely or effectively treat Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy or depression. Those clinical questions require evidence from the relevant finished devices and their studies; performance advantages over generic components remain company claims.
