MUVON Therapeutics announced interim 12-month follow-up from SUISSE-MPC2 on October 7, 2026. The Phase 2 program evaluates investigational MPCCOL for female stress urinary incontinence.
The therapy uses muscle precursor cells obtained from a patient’s calf-muscle biopsy, expanded outside the body and injected into the external urethral sphincter using ultrasound guidance.
The interim follow-up includes 13 patients who completed the 12-month assessment. For the 12 who had responded at six months, the company reports that reductions in stress incontinence episode frequency of 79% and urinary leakage of 85% were maintained at one year. It also reports no serious therapy- or device-related adverse events.
These are company-reported results from a small interim cohort, with efficacy percentages reported for responders. They do not establish superiority over a randomized comparator or long-term safety for a broader population. Additional follow-up and confirmatory studies remain necessary.
