Werfen launches QUANTA Link 5.0 for autoimmune laboratory workflows — October 7, 2026

October 7, 2026 — Werfen announced the global launch of QUANTA Link 5.0 on October 6, introducing browser-based access to its data-management platform for autoimmune laboratories.
The update centralizes testing workflows through an HTML interface that does not require local workstation installations. Consolidated views bring together patient history, previous results and workflow information, while updated visualization and analytics help staff review results and monitor trends.
Werfen says the platform adds traceability, audit and security controls while maintaining instrument integration and laboratory information system connectivity. QUANTA Link combines results from Aptiva, BIO-FLASH, QUANTA-Lyser 3000, NOVA View and manual microscopy in one interface.
The company reports that version 5.0 is available to customers worldwide. The announcement describes software features and intended workflow improvements, but provides no independent benchmark of turnaround-time savings or improved diagnostic accuracy. It is a laboratory management update rather than a new therapeutic intervention.
