Solu Starts STX-0712 Dosing in an Acute Myeloid Leukemia Cohort

Published in Drugs development & discovery, Immunology.

October 8, 2026 — Solu Therapeutics announced that dosing has begun in an acute myeloid leukemia cohort of its ongoing Phase 1 study of STX-0712.

The cohort will enroll patients with relapsed or refractory monocytic or monocytic-predominant AML. STX-0712 is an investigational Cytotoxicity Targeting Chimera, or CyTAC, designed to eliminate CCR2-positive malignant monocytes and bone marrow progenitors.

The multicenter, open-label study, NCT06950034, evaluates STX-0712 as a single agent in patients with relapsed or refractory chronic myelomonocytic leukemia and AML. Its objectives include safety, tolerability, selection of a recommended Phase 2 dose and preliminary antitumor activity.

The new AML cohort expands the clinical evaluation of the program. Starting dosing does not establish effectiveness or safety in AML, and the announcement provides no quantitative results from this cohort. Whether selective CCR2 targeting produces meaningful clinical benefit remains a question for the study.
