Tempus announced an expanded, multi-year agreement with Moderna and Merck to prepare infrastructure for the possible commercialization of intismeran autogene, also called V940/mRNA-4157. The individualized neoantigen therapy is being evaluated with pembrolizumab in completely resected stage IIB–IV melanoma and other cancers.
Tempus will coordinate collection and transfer of tumor tissue and blood specimens needed for next-generation sequencing. If the applicable regulatory approvals are obtained, it will also supply sequencing services supporting therapy design and manufacturing. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The agreement concerns the operational pathway from patient samples to an individualized treatment. It does not itself establish regulatory approval, availability in Canada, or a new clinical efficacy result. The partners describe commercialization as a potential future step.
