MyOme launches CASRcade family genetic testing program for ADH1

October 9, 2026 — MyOme announced CASRcade on October 8, a BridgeBio-sponsored program offering no-charge familial variant testing for eligible relatives of people with confirmed autosomal dominant hypocalcemia type 1, or ADH1, in the United States.
ADH1 is associated with gain-of-function variants in CASR, the gene encoding the calcium-sensing receptor. The program uses targeted sequencing and analysis to determine whether a relative carries the same variant already identified in the family.
Healthcare providers can enroll a person with confirmed ADH1, after which consenting participants identify potentially eligible biological relatives, extending up to fourth-degree relationships. Relatives with positive results may initiate testing for their own eligible family members.
MyOme also facilitates genetic counseling through a qualified third-party provider for relatives with confirmed positive results. The announcement concerns access to family testing; it does not report a new treatment, clinical-trial outcome or universal screening service.
The program’s U.S. eligibility matters for readers elsewhere: the release does not announce availability in Québec or Canada.
