Neumarker and Cortica announced a research collaboration on October 15 to explore whether artificial intelligence can help personalize care for children with autism. The partners plan to combine Neumarker’s large-scale EEG foundation model with Cortica’s de-identified longitudinal clinical data.
The stated goal is to identify measurable patterns of brain activity that could help explain differences in how children respond to interventions. Such biomarkers could eventually support more individualized treatment decisions, if their predictive value is demonstrated.
Evidence limits: This announcement describes a collaboration and its objectives, not a validated clinical test. It provides no predictive-accuracy results or evidence that using the proposed approach improves patient outcomes. Independent validation and prospective evaluation would be needed before assuming clinical benefit.
The companies say the work will use de-identified data and follow applicable privacy and research requirements.
